Mountain Guides’ Festival 2026 in the High Tatras

The High Tatras Mountain Guides Association cordially invites all mountain lovers, enthusiasts of Tatran traditions, and mountain guiding to the Mountain Guides’ Festival, which will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Starý Smokovec .

The event is an annual celebration of mountain guiding in the High Tatras, a gathering of mountain guides, their clients, families, friends, and all those who hold the mountains dear. This year, we will also commemorate the 30th anniversary of Slovak mountain guides joining the international organization UIAGM / IVBV / IFMGA.
