This year, we will also commemorate the <strong>30th anniversary of Slovak mountain guides joining the international organization UIAGM \/ IVBV \/ IFMGA<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Event Program<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3:00 PM \u2013 Laying of a Wreath<\/strong><br\/>at the Memorial to Mountain Guides and Rescuers<br\/>(Star\u00fd Smokovec Cemetery)<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4:00 PM \u2013 Blessing of the Ropes<\/strong><br\/>Star\u00fd Smokovec Chapel<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4:45 PM \u2013 Mountain Guides&#8217; Procession<\/strong><br\/>through the streets of Star\u00fd Smokovec<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Villa Alica<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>presentation by the High Tatras Mountain Guides Association<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>meeting with mountain guides<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tatran Wine Festival<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Come and commemorate the rich history of mountain guiding in the High Tatras, meet mountain guides in person, and experience the unique atmosphere of an event that has been connecting generations of people with a shared love for the mountains for over three decades.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We look forward to seeing you in Star\u00fd Smokovec!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>High Tatras Mountain Guides Association<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The High Tatras Mountain Guides Association cordially invites all mountain lovers, enthusiasts of Tatran traditions, and mountain guiding to the Mountain Guides&#8217; Festival, which will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Star\u00fd Smokovec .
