Milan Šuna has left us.

Our colleague Milan Šuna (*21. 11. 1966 Kežmarok – †21.4. Stará Lesná), who was a mountain guide, climber and ski mountaineer, left us unexpectedly. He participated in two Himalayan expeditions – to Šiša Pangma (1996) and Manaslu (1997). He was a UIAGM mountain guide since 1994. In the years 1996-2000 he worked as a mountain guide instructor within the National Association of Mountain Guides of the Slovak Republic. He was mainly engaged in guiding in Slovakia, but he also had rich experience from other mountains, such as the Alps, the Andes, or Patagonia. Many also knew him as the operator of the Silesian House. In recent years, he was troubled by health problems that made it difficult for him to devote himself to the profession of mountain guide.

Milan, we will miss you. Honor your memory!
